The grapes are grown on 30 to 40-year old vines at 700-900 metres above sea-level. The vineyard is planted on mainly clay soils. The fermentation is carried out in small stainless-steel vats for 15 days at temperatures below 27ºC before the wine is aged for 2 months in French oak barrels.
Complex aromas on the nose, abundant earthy and cranberry notes which make this wine saline and spicey, well balanced and easy to drink.
The perfect match for rice and pasta dishes, vegetables, mushrooms, casseroles, cold meats, pork, roast meats, red and/or white meats with sauces, barbeque meats, and soft or medium-hard cheese.
